Photocopying Tip

I’m a day late for Transcript Tuesday but I did finally remember. Today’s Photocopying Tip is recycled from our Nov/Dec 2004 Newsletter.

If you are copying old yellowed clippings, check the copier for a “photo” setting. This should improve the contrast to give a clean crisp copy. To make it last over time, make sure to copy on acid free paper.

If you have trouble with “bleed through” from the other side, put a piece of black paper over the original on the back side.

~Transcript Tuesday~

In honor of Earth Day this year, I’m happy to announce a weekly challenge, where I will be recycling our newsletter articles from the archived issues [1993 to Current]. In other words, I will find an article (or two) each Tuesday and post it on our blog – linked to our website. ~Teresa Jordan | Recycled from LCGS Newsletter | May-Jun 2011

The following attachment is recycled from a newsletter in 2004, but the information is still fresh.

It’s a Census Year list of what is included on each Census, years 1790-1920. [It's in pdf format, feel free to save and/or print for reference]  Census
